This was a fun game jam. I decided to go solo this time. I also decided to make the game in Game Maker which I have little to no experience working with. I really enjoyed the challenge.

The Theme of the jam was Lunar and the Limitation was 10 seconds.

I, of course, went straight into designing an astronaut game.

This felt too predictable so I took a break and slept on the idea. I decided to do an animal trapped in a spaceship on the moon. You have 10 seconds to get to the collectibles and each collectible gives you another 10 seconds.  There really is not much to the game but to make it to the exit of each level.

To play the game is simple arrow key controls. Up, Down, Left, and Right. Try to get to the end before the time runs out.

I had more plans for this game but didn't have enough time to finish. This was a fun jam though. ENJOY!

I was working on this game as a warmup for my Game Jam. I am planning on making GameBoy / Zelda like game for this jam so it was fun practice.

Hey I really enjoyed this fun little game!
The mechanic was easy to pick up. At first I was wondering what the purpose is. Then I realized the total amount of time available in the map is fixed. So I need to find my way out before time goes out.
I want to talk about player agency though. Although I beat the game, it was mostly luck. I wonder how am I supposed to be good at the game. In other words, how do I facilitate winning proactively? I know it's just a mini game. I just wanna throw this question here for brainstorming XD
Nicely done though!

I really appreciate the advice. It is very good advice. I had more ideas for the game but it was all built from scratch on a new engine for me. Time went faster than planned. (As game jams do.) I am just happy to have completed something 100% solo and original. There was plans for tutorial stages, an integrated story that develops as you play, obstacles and level changes. I intended on having small puzzles inside the maze. Texture changes for different areas of level progression, save screens, music, ect... I might work on the project more if enough players like it. Thanks Again!
